This is Ruby in the park, I had originally done this before but had some friends around and I showed them what I thought was the completed portrait, well it got slated and I went to bed and cried myself to sleep(I was pretty drunk), got up the next day and redid it in a fit of madness as Ruby No 5.
But I always regretted painting over all the flowers I'd done, so redid it on a much reduced scale, it's gone from 20 by 27 inches to A4 size done in oil, I wanted to fit in a frame I have.
This is a terrible photo but after 2 hours trying to get a good one I've lost hope.It's a really bad picture this, not blowing my own trumpet but it is a lot nicer than the above!!!

Hope you like it.
I'm swapping it for a 2nd hand sofa belonging to the family.Barter alive and well in my neck of the world.

This was the second go at this the first I buried under another painting,but it was worth it to go a second round, did my head in though! Art can be a real slog at times.

Well I think it looks great....it's bad getting drunk and listening to friends! Have personally wrecked many paintings doing exactly that..the white dress is gorgeous!
